In a lame attempt to appear patriotic...good thing they didn't have their delegates vote on that one...they decided to "salute" the U.S Navy...with pictures of RUSSIAN navy ships!
Or, maybe it was a salute to the democrat's navy ?
Anyways, the ship in the photo is the Kara-class cruiser “Kerch” of the Black Sea fleet with some training F-5's photo shopped into the picture.
So really...are the democrats so damned ignorant that they blunder everything they do?
The first "hint" that those weren't our ships would be the Russian naval flag flying from the stern.
Do us all a favor liberals, stop trying to act patriotic because everyone already knows your position on patriots and, none of you are convincing anyone that you suddenly became patriotic overnight.

"This error should not distract from the words of Admiral Nathman and others who spoke to President Obama's strong record on issues that impact those who have served our nation."
"We're proud of the service and sacrifice of our veterans and military families," the DNC said. "And while they were an important and active part our of convention, Mitt Romney failed to even mention them in his speech in Tampa."
But for some fringe type bloggers, this is really important. It's not like any untruths were told at the RNC. Oh, wait a minute, there was that Paul Ryan speech, and then.....oh,never mind, let's just concentrate on this one mistake.

It was a DNC amateur patriotism error because even little kids know that OUR ships fly the AMERICAN flag off the stern.
As for "untruths", maybe you should rewind your copy of the DNC convention and listen to the oulandish bullshit that was being thrown around.
The best part was Debbie Downer trying to stammer her way through all the reasons that Obama "Personally" wanted to have God personally, put back into the platform because he personally asked that it be personally installed in there because he personally deemed it personally necessary...har, har, hardy, har, har!
But, since he'd "personally" reviewed it prior to being HIS official platform that he "personally" approved and HIS "personal" spokesmen had refused for the last TWO months to call Jerusalem the capital of Israel...I'm guessing that until the outrage from the old skool democrats surfaced on live tv, OBAMA had fully intended to "personally" leave god off their platform and remove the Israel reference that was there before he "personally" had both removed.
I "personally" enjoyed seeing the confusion and shock on Ted Strickland's face when it became obvious to him that his party isn't filled with the Democrats he thought it was.
Even more funny was the fact that the teleprompter was programmed with the vote already passed...and the resulting confusion as to what to do when reality threw the script away and the people behind the curtain were revealed!
So, what did Za party leaderz do? They passed the platform change when it was obvious that it didn't pass by a long shot...because they NEED those Christians and Jews to believe the party still gives 2 shits about them even after it was made obvious in front of the world that they don't!

THAT is how the DNC operates...they fuck over whoever is expedient in the eyes of the leadership.
Just ask all those communists, athiests and Arab delegates who were thrown under a bus!
