I'd say that if the only mystery about Romney is a few years worth of tax records that has them going into fits, it means that they're grasping at straws.
Well libs, I've been asking you for nearly 5 years to explain your absense of interest as to why your guy has so much he's concealing from public view?
It's comical that you're all so concerned about how much money Romney has made over the last ten years ( class envy issues ) but, you pull excuses out of your asses by the gross to avoid answering for your double standard.
I've been asking for years how Obama obtained a foreign passport to travel on...while being an American citizen...which is illegal as all hell.

I would enjoy hearing an explanation of how he got it and, where is this passport today?
Even more so, I'd love to hear the canned excuses from liberals as to why finance records are sooo much more important than education records, passport fraud, Senate records and, completely fabricated personal histories.

Sepp- I can't answer anything on Obama's passport. But I have an idea why everyone wants those returns. I believe they're trying to prove that Romney has no interest in seeing the Middle Class succeed.
I've seen Romney called a tax cheat on some blogs. I even explained to one guy that I have IRA's that are tax deferred. His argument was that the max tax deferment investments are capped at 100K. My brother, who owns an investment firm, confirmed this is true. However, there's no limit on the amount of IRA's you may invest in.
I think a lot of Liberals are looking for the smoking gun. His tax returns may very well be just that. I suspect a ploy. Romney may be holding on to these for the right moment.
So, they're "worried" that Romney has a tax cheat issue or, he's smart enough to move his money in legal ways to protect it from the government?
Yawwwnnnn.
It's funny how when Obama's apointees were all being exposed as honest to goodness tax cheats who weren't even bothing to pay what they DID owe, democrats cared less about it.
Equally as strange is that they haven't even bothered with faux outrage that Obama gave their tax money to his friends and donors to open up "green energy" ( powered by OUR greenbacks ) who funneled much of it back into Obama's campaign before quietly folding the companies.
Two of the scumbags took the 5th during the enquiry when asked where all the money went.
Outcry from the left? Zero.
They're content to distract themselves with Romney's money that HE earned as opposed to OUR money that WE earned being used to fund shell businesses that seem to be fronts for Obama to collect tax dollars for his election.
I'll concern myself with Romney's money AFTER Obama accounts for what HE did with mine!
One argument made to me was that I shouldn't vote for Romney because his tax burden was less than mine.
I pointed out that Obama's was as well. Nothing but crickets.
I've heard democrats trying to play that card right after admitting that most middle class workers don't even pay imcome taxes.
These same folks are the blabbering mouths that demand "fairness" in everything...except of course when it comes to successful people's money...then, unfairness is cheered for.
If Romney is taxed at the same rate I am, I'd bet that 15% of HIS wages come out to a pretty large chunk of change.
Then again, who really cares if the guy legally only paid 2 million in taxes?
And when did ethics suddenly become a hot issue for leftists?
They were never concerned about them before.
To use an old favorite democrat slogan,
"It's the economy, stupid!"
And, there is no better time in history where that point is more valid than now.
Obama's trickle-up poverty scheme has been a boondoggle of government spending, cronyism and, putting people on the welfare rolls.
